You'll walk away with a list of what you can grow starting in Aug/Sept and whether you should start them from seed or by transplant. We'll discuss issues special to fall gardening such as care for plants in cool temperatures or sudden Indian summer and typical pests you'll deal with in our unpredictable fall weather. We'll finish up with a bit about cover cropping which will help you prepare a larger part of your yard for a spring garden.
