What's Happening in the Demo Garden?

Gardening for the week of February 20th

Dry weather coming! Unless the weatherman is pulling our leg, it's not going to rain Wednesday so let's party in the garden. Lots of work to do - we have new compost bins so we'll be cleaning out the old ones and starting to fill up the new ones. The new ones are bigger and should work better than the small ones we currently have. Any weeds we pull that haven't gone to seed will go into the new bins. We'll continue pruning our prodigious grape vines so bring your favorite heavy-duty clippers. We'll be composting lots of dry leaves from the courtyard as well as cleaning up the courtyard in preparation for class this coming Saturday. Also need to mound up our little potato patch.
